Our commitment
We make organisational change more energising and sustainable... so people, systems, and society can thrive
Change isn’t the problem. The pace, volume, and pressure of constant change is. When organisations are pushed beyond what they can absorb, energy goes into protection not performance.
Leaders often feel this when change isn’t landing as expected - priorities compete, people are stretched, and forward movement becomes harder.
Adaptive Ground works with leaders at this point. We help make sense of what’s really happening in the system, and reset how change is being carried so progress can resume.
The result is change that lasts - without exhausting the people making it happen. And when organisations regain resilience, the impact reaches well beyond the workplace.

Our values
Speak the truth with care
We name what others may not see or say - patterns, tensions, and constraints beneath the surface - and do so with honesty, respect, and compassion.
Act with integrity and fairness
We believe people and organisations deserve better than chronic overload, confusion, or performative change. Our work is grounded in fairness, dignity, and creating the conditions for real progress.
Work with the system, not against it
We don’t force one size fits all solutions. We use the system’s current reality to guide practical and relevant action.
Co-create capability, not dependency
We partner with our clients to build their capacity to think, decide, and act for themselves. The goal is confidence, ownership, and reduced reliance on consultants over time.
Design for balance and stability
We design change that people can engage in. We attend to pace, energy, and human capacity balanced with market and organisational demands so progress and results are sustainable in the long term.
Adaptive insights

# 1
Constant change is now one of the key psychosocial hazards in organisations
Overload
Multiple and overlapping change initiatives have become the norm rather than the exception

Essential conditions shape an organisation's ability to adapt
Our approach

Human centred and systemic
We focus on what is really happening inside the system - capacity, energy, relationships, and decision dynamics - not just structure or process.
Alignment before action
We create shared clarity across leaders and teams, making sense of competing priorities and tensions so action is coherent, not fragmented.
Iterative, not episodic
Change is delivered through small, connected experiments that test, learn, and embed progress over time. This is how momentum is built without overload. We call these Change Sprints.
Adaptive by design
We build the organisation’s capacity to absorb and respond to ongoing change - creating enough productive tension to drive evolution, without tipping the system into burnout or resistance.

FAQs
How can we get results quickly without committing to a long project? Our Adaptive Health Check tool helps you hone in on the few leverage points that will make the biggest difference fast. This means short, targeted work that stabilises what is wobbling, creates clarity, and enables leaders to act differently straight away - without committing to a long, drawn-out program. Our subsequent consulting services are also all designed for rapid cycles to support this.
Change hasn’t worked here before - how can you help? We look at why previous efforts didn’t work – that’s an integral part of our Adaptive Health Check tool. It’s rarely about people failing - usually it’s systemic constraints or exceeded capacity. We then work with leaders to clear these obstacles so they can act and real change happens.
How is your approach different from other change management consultants? Traditional approaches focus on delivering linear and predictable change; we focus on making the organisation capable of sustaining it and building its adaptation muscle. See OUR DIFFERENCE page for more about what makes us different.
How can we get stakeholders on board with this work? Most stakeholders don’t need convincing that change is happening - they need help seeing why progress keeps stalling despite strong strategy, investment, and effort. Our work provides you and your stakeholders to speak a common language and discuss complex change in a concrete way, provide clear insight into the risks of doing nothing, and neutral observations that help you stay focused on getting results from your strategy.
How do you work with teams that are reluctant to change? We don’t see resistance as a problem - we see it as a signal. It usually points to real obstacles, like unclear priorities, low autonomy, or unresolved tension. By creating a space where we can surface these issues, we help leaders address the root causes and create conditions where teams can engage and progress.
How do you measure the impact of your work? We look at whether the organisation can act differently, make better decisions, and sustain performance under change. This includes both practical indicators - like delivery against priorities, reduced friction, or clearer decision-making - and qualitative insights from leaders and teams. We use data capturing tools before, during, and after each engagement to track this. The focus is always on meaningful change, not just reporting activity.
